Guardian Home Program 

             What Does it mean to be a Guardian ?

 A Guardian or Guardian family is a person or household that agrees to keep and look after a breeder's dog. Guardians do not own the dog in their care until said dog has produced a certain number of litters and is retired from the breeding program.

 (for a Female usually 2-4 litters and Males are generally retired between the ages of 5-10)  

Guardian homes are utilized by Cajun Girl kennels in hopes to give our breeding dogs the very best life possible by keeping them in loving home environment's. 


As a Guardian home you get a top quality pick of the litter puppy free of sale charge and become that puppy's forever home!

While the dog is in our breeding program, Cajun Girl Kennels pay's for all breeding related expenses while the Guardian is responsible for all of the typical pet expenses and maintenance. Including grooming by a professional groomer every 4-6 weeks, dog food, training by professional dog trainers, regular annual vet visits for vaccinations, parasite/heartworm prevention and sickness/injury appointments.
